Work and Play at the K.K

Chester's newest thing is the Vacuum at the Kiddie Kollege....Better known as "The Pig" He has figured out that it can pretty much suck up anything. When he is really onery and "making mischief of one kind and another" (name that book) We turn it on for him and let him suck up garbage on the floor. Today we wound out that it isn't just garbage and dirt that he was sucking up. Mom emptied the trap and here is just a small list of what we found...
* Dirt * A dice * his rubber spider * about $.30 in different coins * Crayons * Rocks This is Haylee's Butterfly net that she got from Sister Hoye for Chester's Birthday. (That's right, She buys a large gift for the actual Birthday person, and then smaller gifts for the other kids. She doesn't want hurt feelings) She is Wonderful! Anyway, She has carried this around with her since Memorial Day. When she isn't catching bugs she is using it to carry around "purple" and Polly pockets
Dad has been working at Lagoon for the past two weeks and my boys have needed something to do while he isn't there. So he gave them a "to do" list of things that he needs "destroyed" Here is Kayden taking a whack at one of the "Items to be destroyed"Cordell pulls up on his bike to Observe Kayden's work....Then he decides....That he needs a turn. That box was in shreds in less than 5 minutes! They had SO much fun until they learned that destroying things for Grandpa also means cleaning up after yourself.
They will be glad when Grandpa is back down at the Kiddie Kollege every morning so they can help him. They even asked me to buy them some working gloves.

"Making mischief of one kind or another" I believe comes from one of Dad's favorite books that he used to read to us when we were little: "Where The Wild Things Are." Am I right?

Also, laughing my guts out at Chester and the vacuum. That little boy is "FULL of mischief of one kind or another!"

Also laughing at the boys completely destroying that box. I can totally see them doing that.

"Where The Wild Things Are" And Chester reminds me of "Max" the little boy in the story.

I love your kids. I bet they will be glad that grandpa is done, but will be glad to go to Lagoon as well.

Kiss little Max for me. He is too cute!!
